Joseph Connors, Professor of History of Art and Architecture and Renaissance and Baroque Architecture, is giving a lecture on Baroque architecture and sculpture! Connors served as the Director of the American Academy in Rome and of the Harvard Center for Italian Renaissance Studies Villa I Tatti and is currently working on a monumental three volume book on Borromini, which will be published in the winter. Borromini was known for his complex geometric architectural style and undulating facades which challenged everything a building should look like. Come listen to him lecture on Borromini, Baroque architecture, and his writing process!
