Auditions for Harvard Baroque are held at the beginning of the fall semester. There may be secondary auditions before the spring semester. 2023’s fall auditions will be held on September 3rd from 5-9 PM, with a first orchestral meeting on Monday the 4th. We’ve designed our audition process to be friendly, fun, and inspiring! Plan to come with a baroque work, just a few minutes in length. Then we will put an early instrument in your hands and play a piece of chamber music with you for the rest of the audition. It's a great first taste of what it will be like to explore historical performance.
